Griffbereit is a language support and family education program for parents/families with and without an international family history with their children between the ages of 1 and 3 years. In a weekly group, parents and children discover games and language together in German and in the family language.
Parents and children take part in the parent-child group weekly for a period of about a year, guided by a specially trained parent guide. Two or more languages are always spoken in the group: German and the family language of the participants.
Griffbereit is currently being financed by the support program Integration Opportunities for Children and Families (IfKuF) of the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. We take part in this program on the basis of a cooperation agreement with the municipal integration center of the Rhein-Sieg district (KI).
